Billing Support Specialist
United Tech is looking for a Billing Support Specialist who will actively interact with the Payment and Support teams to quickly resolve payment issues from users.
About the product:
A web platform for people from different countries who want to make friends, meet new people, and communicate safely. The product is already in production and has more than 500,000 users from the US, UK, Canada, Middle East countries, Asia, and leading European countries.
What you’ll help us do:
- Communication with English-speaking clients through tickets
- Answering customers' questions about payment problems, suggesting what can be done to solve the problem with payment
- Making refunds to customers upon their requests
- Monitoring of all payments, search for unsuccessful ones, and proactive communication with customers who have issues with payments
- Responding to chargebacks from customers
- Communication with Payment product manager on complex issues and features of online payments
- Participates in the product development of the payment system: feature ideas, testing of new functionality
It’s all about you:
- 1+ year of relevant experience as a Customer Support or experience with Payments
- Written English should be at a high level, and spoken English should be at a sufficient intermediate level
- Initiative and organization — we do not hesitate to talk about problems and offer ideas. We are able to take responsibility for the jams and control our working time on the shift
- Team player
- Attention to details
Will be a plus:
- Experience with major payment providers (Visa, MasterCard, ApplePay, Google Pay, etc.)
- Experience with chargebacks and refunds
