About the role: You will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of a brand-new Data Lakehouse platform, work hands-on with the latest technologies in the GCP ecosystem. You will be part of a team that values ownership, listens to well-reasoned initiatives, and is ready to put them into action.
- Take the ownership of migration from ClickHouse to BigQuery, covering historical and incremental data while ensuring integrity, accuracy, and performance
- Design a scalable BigQuery architecture with optimal partitioning, clustering, and schema structure for analytical and operational workloads
- Develop and maintain automated ETL/ELT pipelines using Cloud Composer, DataForm, or custom scripts
- Build aggregated datasets and data marts for analytics, reporting, and dashboards with cost-efficient query performance
- Implement automated data quality checks, monitoring, and alerting to ensure reliability and detect anomalies
- Monitor and optimize production data infrastructure, improving performance, managing costs, and applying BigQuery best practices
